A bit about Me.

My Experience

I have been married to my husband Simon for 18 years and have two wonderful fur babies, Luna and Charlie.

Like many people, I’ve experienced both the challenges and complexities that life can bring. This includes navigating relationship difficulties, loss, anxiety, and periods of significant change.

These experiences have shaped how I work - with empathy, honesty, and a deep respect for how hard it can be to reach out for support.

Alongside my counselling work, I’ve also run my own business and led a business association, so I understand the pressures that can come with work, responsibility, and leadership.

My Approach

I’m known for building warm, genuine connections with people quite quickly. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly, without fear of judgement - and where nothing you say will shock me.

We’ll work at your pace, focusing on what feels most important to you. While counselling can involve difficult conversations, I also believe in bringing warmth, steadiness, and at times humour into the process.

We’ll work together to find an approach that suits you, drawing on different tools and perspectives where helpful. We can set goals if that feels useful, and I’ll regularly check in to make sure the work feels right for you.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals and couples across a range of areas, with a particular interest in:

  • Relationship challenges and couples work

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma and early life experiences

  • Life transitions and aging

  • Sexuality and identity

  • Spirituality and meaning

I’ve had the privilege of working with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including Māori, Pākehā, Pasifika, and diverse international communities.

A Final Note

I believe counselling should be accessible and part of everyday wellbeing - something you can turn to for support, clarity, or simply a space to think.

Whether you’re going through a difficult period or wanting to understand yourself or your relationships more deeply, you don’t have to do it alone.
